XXY Baby is Born

XXY Baby is born

This is to the mothers who are really struggling and not understanding what it means to have a baby ready to see the world diagnosed with Klinefelter syndrome or XXY.  You might have just been told about the diagnosis of your xxy baby as you are reading this in the first 24 hours. You might be 12 weeks pregnant or you might be just learning about your baby having Klinefelter syndrome. Hopefully watching this video and reading my thoughts will encourage you, bring you some relief and liven your spirits.

I have had the chance to talk to and meet so many mothers in your exact same shoes. The gut wrenching feeling like you just went bungee jumping and are deathly afraid of heights, laying in fetal position for 3 days straight or obsessively trying to learn everything you can in the shortest period of time glued to google. At the end of the day those feelings will always have the glimmer of hope, and hope is just the start of what this community of amazing people can offer you. Your XXY baby will be amazing.  These boys  are so creative, beautiful and have the kindest hearts. I know there are positives out there and we only have just gotten started.  Teamwork makes Dreamwork.

This is Rene Ingram, She is a mother of a XXY baby boy who was just brought into this world a few months ago.  I have never met Rene and I have never had any contact with her. Like all of us we use the internet to learn and search for things.  I am always looking for more information, articles and new information on Klinefelter syndrome. One day searching youtube I found her video.   She was 18 weeks pregnant and found out at 16 weeks her boy was diagnosed with Klinefelter syndrome. She was worried at first she says in her video but after doing research and research she found a youtube video that helped her think differently.  She decided to make her on youtube channel to help others and give them hope.

I encourage you to watch her two videos and if you would like to learn more about Klinefelter syndrome, here are some videos I have managed to put together Youtube. Thank you for reading this and please Comment and share so we can help more of those in need of our help.

If you would like to learn a little bit more about who I am and what I am doing, Here is an article written about me in the early stages of 2017.

  1. Dear Ryan,
Thank you a lot for this post.
My name is Maria, I’m from Brazil, and my Klinefelter baby was born last month, with only 25 weeks (he is a preemie baby).
I discovered his syndrome when I was 22 weeks pregnant (only 3 weeks before he was born), and I found your Blog very helpful for a person that had never heard before about what Klinefelter syndrome was.
By the way: his prematurity has no relation to his syndrome! I discovered Klinefelter by “coincidence”, just because I was researching for my pregnancy problems.
I will write you someday (when I find some time, I promise), when he leaves the NICU.
Thank you again for all your posts and videos!
    Kind regards from Brazil.

  2. Hello

I’m 60 and live with xxy.
It’s sometimes difficult especially in the past when my girlfriends wanted a baby from me.

I’m from France near St Tropez.
Wish you a happy new year ☺
    All the best

    Oliver

  3. Hi,
I am 62, had found out with a blow to my face, upon trying for a baby after getting married, that’s when I had found out from the specialist that I was born with a karyotype 47xXY mosaic.
I had been keeping very quiet about my condition because in the past ignorant persons used to take a Micky out of me, being a sensitive person, I often got hurt from their remarks.
I am fortunate to have been born this way, because apart from being tall and handsome , women usually like me, though at times they do not give me the credit for being naturally creative, other artistic talents, tuned to the nature, intuitive , acute sixth sense, multi dimension , add eccentricity to the mix.
    What else can I say?
I have been on the injections every fourteenth day, 1.25mg Delatestosterone intramuscular with a 23g/ 2-1/2 inch needle, I had tried it with a 21g , but the needle is too thin and pierces through the veins.
I used to have the patches as well as the creame, neither had shown me positivity, but the best is the needle.
