These are the types of testosterone that I have been able to research. It is recommend that you consult with your doctor.
Topical, Intramuscular Injections, Intranasal, Oral, Implantable.
Skin patch: Worn on the arm thigh or upper body where there is no hair. It’s applied once a day.
Gel: Androgel and Testim are two examples of brands. The gel is clear and applied to the upper body. It is absorbed thru the skin. Dose is usually in pumps or packets and depends on what your doctor prescribes you.
Mouth patch: A tablet that sticks to your upper gums. Each tablet lasts 12 hours time release so 2 tablets per day depending on doctors prescription.
Intramuscular Injection: Injected directly into the muscle via shot. The body absorbs into the bloodstream.
Implanted Pellets: Testosterone pellets are implanted under the skin, they slowly release testosterone over the course of three to six months depending on dosage. A short, simple procedure is performed in your doctor’s office to implant the pellets under the skin, usually near your hip.
Oral Pill (Swallowed): There have been a few pills over the years that you can swallow but the effect on the liver is not good or worth taking the risk.
Deodorant Stick: Applied under the armpit. Not sure what the dosage, Popular in Australia.
Nasal Gel: Sprayed into the nose. Not sure about dosage or who uses it.
